PURPOSE: A clearance adjusting device of a window regulator is provided to compensate clearance from wear by frictionizing a slide groove of a carrier plate moving up and down a window glass and a rail. CONSTITUTION: A clearance adjustor of a vehicle window regulator is composed of a rail installed in a door inner panel, and a carrier plate moving up and down a window glass along the rail. A hole is formed at the slide groove of the carrier plate to penetrate the slide groove. A ball(24), a guide plate(28) and a spring(28) are sequentially inserted to the hole. A finishing plate(30) is fixed by a screw(32) not to dislocate the spring. The ball is pushed by the spring in the slide groove of the carrier plate and contacted to the rail. The clearance adjusting apparatus of the window regulator prevents the window glass from being moved by clearance from wear of the slide groove in opening and closing, and restricts the window glass from being displaced.
