PURPOSE: Device and method for protecting a control circuit in a forklift truck is provided to reduce charge of CPU(Central Process Unit) by sensing open or shot of a motor driving device with hardware, and to isolate PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) pulse by decreasing a checking time the open or shot of the driving device. CONSTITUTION: A control circuit protector of a forklift truck comprises a CPU(20) controlling a PWM pulse to output an error reset signal and a flip-flop reset signal by sensing open/shot of the motor driving device; a PWM output unit(21) deciding output of the PWM pulse applied from the CPU to supply a result into a motor driver; a voltage supply unit applying different voltage supplied from a motor and the motor driving device according to abnormality of the motor driving device; an open/shot sensing unit(29) detecting abnormality of the motor driving device according to the voltage inputted by being connected to the voltage supply unit; an error releasing unit(30) removing the abnormality of the motor driving device by being engaged with the CUP and the open/shot sensing unit; and a flip-flop(31) outputting different signal to the CPU and a PWM output unit according to the motor driving device. The control circuit protector alerts abnormality of the motor driving device to a driver of the forklift truck through sensing the open/shot of the motor driving device. |
