METHOD FOR MANAGING CONTEXT NUMBER OF HASH STRUCTURE MMU IN REAL TIME OPERATING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for managing a context number of a hash structure MMU(Memory Management Unit) in a real time operating system is provided to prevent a performance deterioration caused by a context conversion although a MMU is used and to reduce the number of memories and to perform converting of a context number, PID(process identifier) and PCB(process control block) addresses promptly. CONSTITUTION: A data structure is created and initialized for managing a context number of a hash structure MMU through a context number initialization unit(S201). If a context number allocating request is inputted when a process is created(S202), the used number is circulated and allocated through a context number allocating unit(S203). If a context conversion demand is inputted during a process(S204), the context number allocating unit informs a requesting context number to the MMU(S205). If a context number deleting demand is inputted(S206), a context number collection unit collects the corresponding context number(S207).
