PURPOSE: An element cleaning device of an air cleaner is provided to broaden the life time of an element and to prevent resources waste by easily clean the element without damages. CONSTITUTION: An element cleaning device in an air cleaner contains a cylindrical lower housing(1) supported by a base member(6); an upper housing(2) pushing a sealing member(28) of an element(29) to form a sealing case; a nozzle(11) spraying compressed air to a core(5) of the element, in the upper housing; and an air compressor(12) supplying compressed air to the nozzle. The upper and the lower housing seal an inner space(4) through a packing(3). A jig(7) is installed on the base member and a dust channel(8) is formed on the outer circumference of the jig. A dust collecting tank(9) is installed in the end of the dust channel. The upper housing is lifted by a hydraulic cylinder(10).
