PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating the defected sheet of the front and rear parts of a strip in an annealing and pickling line is provided in which many sheets are simultaneously transferred, and the transferred sheets are not separated. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises an ascent and descent part for ascending or descending sheets piled up on a conveyor (10) to a certain height consisting of a plurality of variable plates (20), rotational levers (21) fixed to a rotational axis of the variable plates, a driving cylinder (22) connected to the front of one side of the rotational levers and the side surface of a conveyor for horizontally rotating the rotational levers, and a horizontal bar (23) to which each rotational levers are axis coupled for conveying operating force of the driving cylinder to all rotational levers; and a fetching part for transferring many sheets lifted by the ascent and descent part as they are piled up consisting of a pair of running rails (30) lain from the side surface of the conveyor to the upper part in the width direction, a transfer car (31) equipped with a driving roller for being transferred along the running rails, an ascent and descent member (33) ascending and descending along a vertical bracket, a driving means installed at the upper part of the transfer car for ascending and descending the ascent and descent member, and a fork (34) horizontally installed in front of the ascent and descent member in a certain distance and inserted into the lower part of the sheets through inserting holes of the conveyor.
