DEVICE FOR REMOVING STUCK FOREIGN SUBSTANCES IN STRIP

PURPOSE: A removing device of foreign substances is provided to remove defects on the surface of the strip and to remove swarf and the foreign substances in the side of the strip. CONSTITUTION: A driving portion contains motor bases(3) installed in both sides of a strip(100); a motor(7) fixed in the motor base(3) and combined with a reducer(5); and a screw bar(1) combined with a driving shaft of the motor(7) by a coupling and rotated when the motor is driven. A wiper portion contains a screw guide(25) to pass the screw bar and a guide bar(17); a wiper blade block(27) fixed in the screw guide(25); and a wiper blade(31) inserted in an inserting groove of the wiper blade block(27) and to wipe swarf and foreign substances in the side of the strip(100) by contacting with the strip(100). An injecting portion contains an air pipe(55) connected with an air hose(51) by a clamp; an air nozzle(57) to inject air into the strip(100) when the wiper blade(31) wipes the strip(100); and an air solenoid valve installed in the air pipe(55), connected with a control unit(59), to control an opening and a closing of the air nozzle(57).
