PURPOSE: A row repair circuit is provided to improve the yield by using a redundancy word line in a sub block regardless of the position of an abnormal cell. CONSTITUTION: The row repair circuit includes the first and second cell array blocks(700,800), a fuse box(100), a repair/normal select controller(200), the first normal main word line decoder(300), a normal word line boosting signal generator, the second normal main word line decoder(500), and a normal word line boosting signal and repair word line boosting signal generator(600). The first and second cell array blocks include normal and redundancy cells. The fuse box stores row repair address information. The repair/normal select controller receives the repair information to determine whether the word line is repaired and outputs control signals based on the determination. The first normal main word line decoder receives the first control signal for driving normal word lines and a normal main word line address to drive the normal main word line in the first cell array block. The normal word line boosting signal generator receives the first control signal and the normal word line boosting signal address and generates a word line boosting signal to the normal word line in the first cell array block. The second normal main word line decoder receives the first control signal and the main word line address to drive the normal main word line in the second cell array block. The normal word line boosting signal and repair word line boosting signal generator receives the first control signal and the normal word line boosting address to generates the word line boosting signal to the normal word line selected in the second cell array block, and receives the second control signal and the word line boosting address to generates a repair word line boosting signal to the repair word line selected in the second cell array block.
