<p>Apparatus for removing particles from gases esp natural gas. N6B. Consists of a horizontal vessel with a first end wall and a second end wall; a lower tubular plate within the vessel extending from the first end wall to the second end wall, the outer edges of the plate being sealed to the container; a gas inlet through the first end wall above the lower tubular plate; a number of vertical distributor elements extending downwards from the lower tubular plate, the edges of these elements being sealed to the tubular plate and the vessel to form a number of receiving compartments from the particles; an upper tubular plate within the vessel above the tubular plate, and sealed to the vessel, the space above the lower tubular plate being divided into an outlet chamber limited by the second end wall, the vessel and the upper tubular plate, the entrance passage being connected with the gas inlet; a gas outlet through the second end wall at a point above the upper tubular plate, and connected with the outlet chamber; a multiple centrifugal separating apparatus extending in a vertical direction through the upper and lower tubular plates, with its gas inlets in the entrance passage, its gas outlets in the outlet chamber, and its particle outlets in the receiving compartments; and particle discharge outlets in each of the receiving chambers for the particles.</p> |
