LUBRICATING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a lubricating device is provided to stably drive the chain of an air heating side for efficiency and to prevent the chain from being damaged by feeding oil having low viscosity to the chain only when the air heating side is driven with a signal from an air heating furnace control program logic controller before an initial drive. CONSTITUTION: An oil feeder control geared motor is rotated forward when an air heating side starts driving to sense an oil feeding position. After feeding oil, a lubricating device control system checks if the air heating side stops driving and inversely rotates the oil feeder control geared motor. When the oil feeder is in a neutral position, the oil feeder control geared motor stops rotating. The control system counts a time while sensing the oil feeding position and after a regular time, a warning device is operated to reset the oil feeder control geared motor to be inversely rotated. When the oil feeder is not in the neutral position, the control system inversely rotates the oil feeder control geared motor again. Further, an oil supplement pump is driven when the level of an oil tank is low and a solenoid valve is opened until the level of the oil tank is high. Then, the oil supplement pump stops and the solenoid valve is closed.
