PURPOSE: An internal desiccant type compressor is provided to prevent noise caused by between an armature and a pulley for transferring power to a compressor. CONSTITUTION: An internal desiccant type compressor has a pulley(2) integral with an armature(3) for transferring power through a belt from an engine. The armature is connected with a hollow shaft(4), and the hollow portion of the shaft includes a coil(5) for feeding an electric current corresponding to switch on of an air conditioner. The coil is used as an electromagnet when the electric current is fed. A swash plate(6) having plural pistons(7) connected at a margin is positioned with a distance from the shaft. The swash plate is divided into plural pieces to be adsorbed to the shaft by attractive force of the oil when the coil functions as an electromagnet. The swash plate is inclined by rotation of the shaft. Thereby, the pistons reciprocate back and forth to compress refrigerant. The desiccant noise is absorbed by the refrigerant in a compressor(1) not to be delivered into a vehicle.
