3-PHASE PWM RECTIFYING DEVICE AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A 3-phase PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) rectifying device and a method are provided to estimate the frequency and phase of input voltage to perform an accurate switching control of a main power circuit without adding a separate input voltage detector. CONSTITUTION: A main power circuit(10) performs an AC-DC conversion operation. A DC voltage/input current detector(20) detects DC voltage and converts the voltage into a voltage signal of predetermined range. A controller(30) receives an input phase current value and a DC current value from the DC voltage/input current detector(20) to generate a switching signal of the main power circuit(10), and observes a synchronous power to control DC voltage. A switch driver(40) insulates/amplifies the switching signal generated from the controller(30) to drive a power switching element of the main power circuit(10). A power supply(50) supplies voltage to respective devices.
