SPINDLE MOTOR

PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to prevent oil from being spattered and prolong life expectancy of equipments. CONSTITUTION: A housing(300) is slide supported on a shaft(100) with a bearing and includes a groove having a predetermined depth on an upper surface thereof. A core(410) and a coil(420) are arranged on an outer peripheral surface of the housing(300). A stator(400) includes the core(410) and the coil(420). A plate(500) is disposed on a lower surface of the housing and has a circuit board on an upper surface thereof. A magnet(620) is attached on an inner peripheral surface of a case(610) and generates a rotary electromagnetic force along with the stator. A rotor is rotated together with the shaft and includes the case(610) and the magnet(620). The rotor is adjacent to the groove(310) of the housing. A blind flange(700) is protruded from a side surface of the case of the rotor so as to be adjacent to the groove of the housing. The groove of the housing is downwardly titled. The blind flange is integrally formed by being deep drawing processed.
