PURPOSE: Rear roof rail reinforcing structure is provided to reinforce a rear roof rail of a vehicle having a tailgate. CONSTITUTION: An end of a rear roof lower rail(80) at a corner connected to a tailgate is spot-welded with the upper part of an inner side panel(20) with overlapping. An end of an outer side panel(40) out of the rear roof lower rail and the inner side panel is spot-welded with overlapping the end of the rear roof lower rail, an end of a rear roof upper rail(30), the end of the outer side panel(40), and an end of a roof panel(50). A reinforcing part(81) is formed in the end of the rear roof lower rail to shut off a passage(a) between the inner side panel and the outer side panel in welding the inner side panel and the outer side panel. The reinforcing part prevents torsion stress against an opening of a tailgate, and echo by the isolated passage.
