<p>Steel alloys based on sulphur and/or lead are modified with tellurium which is added to the molten steel in alloy form at a very high melting point. Alloy containing tellurium has constituents based on manganese and tellurium in the proportions 25 to 38% manganese, and approximately 55 to 75% tellurium while the strictly measured ratio of MnTe is adhered to. Tellurium content is approx. 0.01 to 0.1%.</p> |
