METHOD FOR DECIDING RELAY SIGNAL PROTOCOL IN BROAD-INTEGRATED SERVICES DIGITAL NETWORK EXCHANGE NODE

PURPOSE: A method for deciding a relay signal protocol in a B-ISDN(Broad-Integrated Services Digital Network) exchange node is provided to correctly supply information necessary for adding or deleting a relay network selection information. Also, it is possible to decide the relay signal protocol according to network identifying information of direct root or bypass root information. CONSTITUTION: A system generates root information of the next node for being used when an outgoing relay is performed by a fixed rooting method supporting a resource capacity requested from a root number, a network identifying number of the next node and a call setup request message. The system receives the call setup request message. If the message is decided as an outgoing relay call through a number translation, the system confirms whether a provider network of the next node uses the same protocol from the network identifying information of the selected root information. If so, the system uses the same protocol, and transmits the call setup request message to the next node. If a provider network of the next node does not use the same protocol, the system uses a protocol of the operator network, and transmits the call setup message to the next node.
