PURPOSE: A vehicle failure diagnosing method is provided to figure out the reasons of generated abnormalities in a short time and achieve the analysis and inspection of the reasons for preventing the damage of an engine or a transmission in advance according to the analysis. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle failure diagnosing method includes the steps of measuring a plurality of vehicle running data according to operation states of various vehicle parts while a vehicle is running(S120), storing the measured plurality of vehicle running data(S130), determining whether an abnormality is generated by comparing the measured vehicle running data with respective set values(S140,150), informing of the generation of an abnormality when the any vehicle running data is higher than the corresponding set value(S170), and compressing and storing a vehicle running data measured before a set time from the abnormality generation time point among the stored vehicle running data(S190).
