PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent the light leakage by reducing non-overlapped portion between a pixel electrode and a data line. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a transparent insulating substrate(21). N number of gate lines(23) are formed on the transparent insulating substrate(21). The gate lines(23) are electrically connected to a gate electrode(25). A gate insulating layer is formed on the transparent insulating substrate(21) such that the gate lines(23) are covered by the gate insulating layer. A data line(27) is formed on the gate insulating layer. The data line(27) is electrically connected to a source electrode(31) and is crossed with the gate lines(23). A drain electrode(29) is formed opposite to the source electrode(31) about the gate electrode(25). A pixel electrode(33) is connected to the drain electrode(29). A portion of the pixel electrode(33) is overlapped with the data line(33) in a zig-zag type and has a concave and convex part.
