STORAGE MEDIA, RECORDING/REPRODUCTION METHOD AND APPARATUS STORING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR SIMULTANEOUS REPRODUCTION

PURPOSE: A storage media, recording/reproduction method and apparatus storing additional information for simultaneous reproduction is provided to make recording/edition/reproduction to be possible by relating two different kinds of data with each other not to be multiplexed each other. CONSTITUTION: A data column is input(S101). It is judged as to whether the data column input is the first data column(Data1) or the second data column(Data2)(S102). The first data column unit is generated dividing the first data column by unit of a definite unit if it is the first data column(Data1)(S103). Information about each the first data column unit is recorded in the first data column descriptor table with the first data column unit descriptor(S104). Information about the first data column unit descriptors of the first data column units connected with appropriate program is recorded in a program descriptor within a program descriptor table(S105). The second data column unit is generated dividing the second data column by unit of a definite unit if the data column which is input at S102 stage is the second data column(Data2)(S106). Information about the appropriate second data column unit is recorded in the second data column descriptor table with the second data column unit descriptor(S107). It is judged as to whether the second data column related with the appropriate program exists or not(S108) after executing S105 stage. Information about the second data column unit descriptors of the second data column units related with the first data column connected with appropriate program is recorded in a program descriptor within a program descriptor table(S109) if it exists.
