PURPOSE: A dielectric paste composition is provided to enhance a luminance and a light reflectance ratio of a PDP and prolong a life expectancy of a product through low power consumed. CONSTITUTION: An AC type PDP forms multi layers on a front glass board and a rear glass board, and has a structure formed by injecting a discharge gas between the layers. Transparent electrodes(2,4), bus electrodes(3,5), a transparent dielectric layer(1) and a protective layer(6) are laminated on the front glass board(10) in their orders. An address electrode(8), a lower plate dielectric layer(7), a partition(9) and a fluorescent layer are laminated in their orders on the rear glass board(11). A dielectric paste composition includes a glass powder, an organic binder and a filling material. The filling material has flat alumina as much as 10-40wt%. The alumina's average particle diameter ranges from 0.2 to 5μm. The flat alumina is used as the filling material having higher light reflectance ratio, thereby increasing luminance and reducing power consumption.
