DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING FINISHING OF ROTATION IN THICK STEEL PLATE

PURPOSE: A device and a method for detecting a finishing of a rotation are provided to exactly rotate a rolling material on a rotating roller table as a rotation limit distance by exactly detecting a contact between the rolling material and side guiding plates. CONSTITUTION: Shock sensors(4a,4b,4c,4d) detect a shock signal to be generated by contacting left/right side guiding plates and a rolling materials. Shock signal converters(11,12) converts the shock signal to an electric signal. Amplifying and filtering units(21,22) amplify the signal and remove noise. A waveform comparator(30) compares the signal with a predetermined contact critical value. A digital pulse is generated when the signal is over the contact critical value. A digital signal processing unit(40) compares a number of the digital pulses with a reference number of pulses. A driving of a rotating roller table is stopped when the number of the digital pulses is over the reference number.
