The invention relates to a roller conveyor for the handling and positioning of items for transport, which comprises two side supports, running in the direction of operation and roller elements arranged between said supports. The roller elements have support rollers and toothed discs which drive said rollers. The support rollers and toothed discs are directly mounted, in a fixed manner, on shafts, said shafts being rotatably mounted in the side supports. The invention permits a modular construction and rapid exchange of individual components. |
