The invention relates to an agent for colouring fibres containing keratin, especially human hair. The agents contain at least one benzofurazane of formula (I) or its N-oxide, R<1> being a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, R<2> being a hydrogen atom, a nitro, sulfo-, sulfonate or sulfonamide group in which the nitrogen can be substituted by C1-4-alkyl- or hydroxyalkyl groups which can also form a heterocyclic ring with the nitrogen atom; R<3> and R<4> being a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, a C1-4-alkyl-, C1-4alkoxy- or hydroxy-C1-4-alkyl group, a hydroxy-, nitro- or amino group which can be substituted by C1-4-alkyl groups, or a C1-4-acyl group, the two groups also being able to form a fused aromatic ring together, on the condition that at least one of the radicals R<1> to R<4> is a halogen atom. |
