PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling the pressure of a tap hole of a blast furnace and capable of controlling cylinder pressure of a closing device in accordance with a size of a tap hole and stopping an advance of a cylinder when it attains maximum pressure is provided, which can prevent a rise in pressure and an outflow generated during closing and an accident in advance. CONSTITUTION: This apparatus for controlling the pressure of a tap hole comprises a pressure detecting part(20) installed in a body of a closing device(14) to detect the pressure of a tap hole(12) of a blast furnace(1) and the closing device; a plurality of pressure reducing valves(28) connected to a hydraulic line to drain under each set pressure; a pressure switch(22) for selecting the pressure reducing valve; and a control part(21) for shutting off under maximum pressure.
