PURPOSE: A circuit of detecting bi-directional current using virtual power source is provided to detect the amplitude of the current using a shunt resistor having a very small resistance, even when the reference ground cannot be used as the ground of the detection circuit. CONSTITUTION: In the circuit of detecting bi-directional current using virtual power source, a detection unit includes a shunt resistor(Rs). An amplification unit(20) amplifies the dropped voltage on the shunt resistor(Rs) above a certain level of voltage. A converting unit(30) produces a certain level of voltage responding to the output of the amplification unit(20). A micom(40) converts the analog value of the converting unit(30) into a digital value and reads the amplitude of the current.
