PURPOSE: A device for processing D-channel packet data in an exchange system is provided to classify/process voice data and V5.2 signaling data for the D-channel packet data. CONSTITUTION: A line board(100) comprises as follows. A frame separator/synthesizer(110) separates D-channel data and voice data, and synthesizes the voice data and the D-channel data. An HDLC(High level Data link Control) processor(120) separates V5.2 signaling data for a call processing control and the D-channel data, and shapes the D-channel data as an HDLC format. An SA(Serial Access)-BUS interface(130) shapes the V5.2 signaling data as a serial stream, and interfaces the V5.2 signaling data to a control board(200) according to a system clock. An SC(Serial Communication)-BUS interface(140) shapes the D-channel data, and interfaces the D-channel data to the control board(200) according to a system clock. An SP-BUS interface(150) receives D-channel packet data, and interfaces the D-channel packet data to a packet processor. The control board(200) comprises as follows. An SA-BUS interface(210) receives the V5.2 signaling data, and interfaces information on a control performance to the line board(100). An SC-BUS interface(220) receives the D channel data, and interfaces the D channel data to the line board(100). An SP-BUS interface(200) interfaces the D-channel packet data to the line board(100) in order to transmit the D channel packet data to the packet processor. An LAPD(Link Access Procedure on the D channel) processor(240) performs an LAPD process for the D channel packet data.
