PURPOSE: A cover for a pump motor is provided to prevent an inflow of water into the pump motor and to prevent a spreading of flames to be generated by overheating the pump motor. CONSTITUTION: A cover(100) shields the entire pump motor(8) to prevent an inflow of water and a spreading of flames. A combining device combines the cover with the pump motor. Plural holes(100a) are formed in the cover and a combining member(20) is combined with the pump motor by penetrating the holes. The cover(100) is produced by a refractory and water-proof material. A lib(101) is formed in the cover(100) to maintain a shape of the cover. The combining member(20) is a screw to prevent a separation of the cover from the pump motor by vibration of the pump motor. |
