APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLING COAL LEVELING IN CARBONIZING CHAMBER OF COKE OVEN

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for automatically controlling the coal leveling in a carbonizing chamber of coke oven are provided to prevent reworking due to leveling defects and external outflow of raw gas due to narrow gas passage by detecting the coal injection height through the comparison analysis of coal volume and changing amount according to the quality of injected coal and automatically controlling the coal leveling of the carbonizing chamber in an extruder based on the detected coal injection height. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a charging amount indicating part (10) installed at a charging car for indicating the appropriate charging amount; a peak detecting part (20) detecting the reaching of a certain peak height; a charging car signal control part (30) wireless transmitting simultaneously leveling start controlling signals and turning on and off a leveling signal light; a leveling control part (40) installed at an extruder for controlling the operation of an extruder coal leveling device (111); an extruder signal control part (50) sensing and wireless transmitting the operating termination of the coal leveling device (111); a processor (61) packeting into data for transmitting into a host computer (60) after analyzing and storing leveling start controlling signals and leveling terminating control signals; a modem (62) modulating and demodulating data between the processor (61) and the host computer (60); and a host computer (60) installed at a central operating room for wireless transmitting quality analysis data, and indicating on a monitor a charging amount of the charging car, the peak indicating state, and the leveling start and completion state of the extruder based on the received signals.
