PURPOSE: A power train of automatic transmission for vehicle enhances a shift quality by actuating an one way clutch in a multiple line and being compacted. CONSTITUTION: An outer race(30) of a first one way clutch(F1) connects with a spline(34) in a transmission housing(26). The inner race(36) of the first one way clutch (F1) cooperates with the outer race(38) of a second one way clutch(F2) via a spline(40). The outer race(38) of the second one way clutch(F1) serves as a retainer of a first brake(B1). Thus, a power train of automatic transmission for vehicle enhances a shift quality by actuating an one way clutch on 1→2, 2→3, 3→2, 4→2 speed change and is compacted by a multiple-line on a coaxial line of one way clutch.
