PURPOSE: A pixel array of an image sensor and a method for scanning the same are provided to reduce a layout area of a chip by sharing a reset gate using an interlace method. CONSTITUTION: A gate line of a select transistor is connected commonly with the first odd line(Odd1) arranged with unit pixels including a photo diode region(PD), a gate(Tx) of a transfer transistor, and a gate(Dx) of a drive transistor. Unit pixels having the same composition as the first odd line(Odd1) are arranged to a direction corresponding to the first even line(Even1). A reset gate line(Rx10) is formed commonly to reset floating diffusion regions of the unit pixels of the first odd line(Odd1) and the unit pixels of the first even line(Even1).
