STRUCTURE OF ORGANIC EL ELEMENT

PURPOSE: A structure of an organic EL element is provided to improve productivity by forming a hole inject layer and a hole transport layer of an organic EL element into a single layer. CONSTITUTION: An anode(21) applies a positive voltage and supplies holes. A cathode(27) applies a negative voltage and supplies electrons. A combined hole inject layer and hole transport layer(30) is formed by making a hole inject layer and a hole transport layer which transports injected holes to a luminous layer being into a single layer in order to improve efficiency in injecting the holes from the anode(21). A combined electron inject layer and electron transport layer(40) is formed by making an electron inject layer and an electron transport layer which transports injected electrons to the luminous layer being into a single layer to improve efficiency in injecting the electrons from the cathode(27). The luminous layer(24) is connected between the combined hole inject layer and hole transport layer(30) and the combined electron inject layer and electron transport layer(40) and emits light by recombination between the holes supplied by the combined hole inject layer and hole transport layer(30) and the electrons supplied by the electron inject layer and electron transport layer(40).
