PURPOSE: Provided is a Li2O-V2O5 glass used for cathode material of a lithium secondary cell, especially a Li2O-Bi2O3-P2O5-V2O5 crystalline glass, which is chemically stable and has high charging and discharging capacity. CONSTITUTION: The Li2O-Bi2O3-P2O5-V2O5 crystalline glass is produced by a process comprising the steps of: setting a glass composition range being 5-50mol% of Li2O, 2-30mol% of Bi2O3, 3-40mol% of P2O5, and 30-90mol% of V2O5; mixing Li2CO3, H3PO4, Bi2O3, and V2O5 in the set glass composition range and melting at a temperature of 900-1000deg.C and then press-molding the mixture by using a couple of rollers; heat-treating the molded resultant at a crystallization range of 200-500deg.C to obtain the Li2O-Bi2O3-P2O5-V2O5 crystalline glass containing a LiVO3 fine crystal; grinding the Li2O-Bi2O3-P2O5-V2O5 crystalline glass and mixing with a binder and a conductive agent.
