PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an array substrate having a repair interconnection in a liquid crystal display device is to repair an interconnection failure based on unit pixels, thereby improving a yield of the device. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of gate interconnections are arranged in a horizontal direction on a substrate. A plurality of data interconnections(117) are intersected with each of the gate interconnections. A pixel area is defined by an intersection of the gate interconnection and the data interconnection. The first repair interconnection(119) isolated from the data interconnection is extended to the pixel area and has both ends overlapped with the data interconnection. The second repair interconnection extended from the data interconnection detours an intersecting point of the gate interconnection and the data interconnection and is connected to the data interconnection. A switching device is disposed at the intersecting point of the gate interconnection and the data interconnection. A pixel electrode is connected to the switching device. |
