PURPOSE: A TV receiver is provided for a user to easily search and select a desired program from many programs. CONSTITUTION: A TV receiver includes a receiving circuit(1) for receiving a broadcasting signal obtained by multiplexing information signals of plural programs; a program information input circuit(2,3,6) for inputting program information concerning a selected program of the plural programs from the outside of the receiver; and a program table generator(7,8,5) for generating a program table based on the input program information from the program information input circuit and for outputting program table data showing the program table. The TV receiver provides a recommended TV program by a user to other users even though the number of programs of a digital TV increases. The TV receiver easily selects a desired program from plural received channels. |
