PURPOSE: A glass-melting furnace is provided to keep the pressure in a melter constant during the conversion time of burning position of burners by stopping PID control and running damper controlling an entrance of duct. CONSTITUTION: The glass-melting furnace is characterized by comprising the parts of; a melter(10) for melting glasses; a pair of heat-storing rooms(19a, 19b) supplying air to melter; burner ports(25a, 25b) placed between melter and a pair of heat-storing room; burners(27a, 27b) throwing flame into melter which convert its positions, working position and stop position, alternatively; a duct(31) forming a pressure-control path; a damper(33), being placed horizontally in the duct, opening and closing an entrance of duct; a damper-running part; a control part for controlling an entrance of duct by running damper, namely, rotating damper in a fixed angle when the burner converts working position to stop position.
