PURPOSE: A scan analysis method is provided to obtain a scan frequency by using an auto-correlation function, to compare the scan frequency with template functions of scan types, and determine a scan type based on the compared result. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of extracting target pulse series, to be analyzed, from acquisited pulse series, sampling the extracted target pulse series with a sampling time within 5 % of a scan frequency error, standardizing the sampled signals, performing an auto-correlation function operation on the standardized signals, calculating a scan frequency by multiplying the largest value among the auto-correlation function operated values by the sampling time, calculating an average and a standard deviation of the sampled data, and determining the scan type by comparing the calculates average and deviation with the template function of each scan type.
