PURPOSE: A measuring device for a phase transformation in strong magnetism is provided to accurately measure the phase transformation during a heating process by rapidly heating or cooling a sample without the quenching of a superconductive electromagnet. CONSTITUTION: A phase transformation measuring device(100) consists of a hollow body(110); a sample installation stand(130) inserted into the body with a sample(120) inside; a bore(112) penetrated through the body; a superconductive solenoid electromagnet(150) roundly arranged in both sides of the bore; a liquid helium chamber(152) covering the electromagnet; a vacuum chamber(154) outside the liquid helium chamber; a liquid nitrogen chamber(156) outside the vacuum chamber; and a vacuum chamber(158) outside the liquid nitrogen chamber. A hollow water jacket(134) is inserted into the bore and a coil type dual tube(136) covers the sample. The coil type dual tube comprises an inner conduit and an outer conduit. The inner conduit injects refrigerants through many injection ports. A linear variable differential transformer(125) detects the displacement of the sample and a thermometer(128) detects the temperature of the sample. Then, the changes of the displacement and the temperature are transmitted to a data acquisition(137).
