PURPOSE: A method for measuring a temperature of the short side part of a continuous casting mold is provided to accurately and promptly sense a temperature of the mold, a casting temperature even in a small space, and solve problems such as defects in the subsequent process due to difficulties in effectively controlling the casting temperature. CONSTITUTION: In a continuous casting mold which comprises a long side mold (40-1) and a short side mold (40-2) which is adjusted depending on a size of the slab, and at the outer side of which a cooling zone (30) is equipped, the method for measuring a temperature of the short side part of a continuous casting mold comprises the process of measuring a temperature by fixing a closely adhered body (60) to the side surface of a cooling zone (30) so as to contact the anode thermocouple with one side of the measuring hole (41) and the cathode thermocouple with other side of the measuring hole (41), thereby constructing an indirect circuit, wherein the closely adhered body (60) is equipped with an elastic body protecting groove supporting and protecting an elastic body (70), the elastic body (70) is supported to a supporting rise of the elastic body protecting groove, the elastic body (70) is coiled around a thermocouple (50) at the lower side of a guide groove which guides the thermocouple (50) so that the thermocouple (50) is inserted into a measuring hole (41), and wherein the mold is equipped with the measuring hole (41).
