PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling closing of the tap hole of a blast furnace is provided to prevent an outflow of molten material and damage of a mud closing apparatus by automatically bypassing into a hydraulic line of the side of a stand by hydraulic pump after automatically detecting the outflow of the hydraulic line due to malfunctioning of hydraulic motor and pump during rotating operation of the mud closing apparatus. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises hydraulic outlet valves (12,22) formed on a hydraulic line so as to supply and block hydraulic to rotational forward and backward electronic valves (13,23) and filling forward and backward electronic valves (16,26) from hydraulic motors (10,20); stand by hydraulic motors (10,20) connected to a hydraulic tank for supplying driving hydraulic to the rotational forward and backward electronic valves (13,23) and the filling forward and backward electronic valves (16,26) when the hydraulic motors (10,20) are out of order; hydraulic detecting sensors (17) detecting whether something is wrong with hydraulic outputted from the hydraulic motors (10,20); a bypass valve (40) bypassing the hydraulic line so as to block the hydraulic line of the side of hydraulic motors (10,20) the operation of which is malfunctioned as the detecting results of the oil pressure detecting sensors (17) and supply driving hydraulic to the corresponding filling forward and backward electronic valves (16,26) from normally operating hydraulic motors (10,20); and a control judging part (100) judging hydraulic motors (10,20) which is out of order by receiving the detected results of the hydraulic detecting sensors (17) and controlling driving of the bypass valve (40) and the hydraulic outlet valves (12,22) so that the driving hydraulic is supplied to the filling forward and backward electronic valves (16,26) by driving the normally operating hydraulic motors (10,20) in case of proceeding of filling.
