METHOD FOR OPENING SUBSCRIBER LINE BETWEEN SUBSCRIBER TRANSFER DEVICE HAVING V5.2 INTERFACE AND EXCHANGE

PURPOSE: A method for opening the subscriber line between a subscriber transfer device having a V5.2 interface and an exchange is provided to define input processing items and associated procedures required in opening the new subscriber line between a subscriber transfer device having a V5.2 interface and a digital electronic telephone exchange. CONSTITUTION: A new subscriber execute a new subscription through a client management system(22). An installation work processing system discriminates the optimum subscriber side local device of a subscriber transfer device containing a V5.2 interface from the subscriber's address information(24). Using a facility conversion table, the installation work processing system confirms the optimum channel bank and an interface identifier allocated to the channel bank(26). The installation work processing system refers to a subscriber transfer device operation and management system for the current unit loading state in order to select the optimum port of the subscriber side local device(28). The installation work processing system activates an PSTN port and an ISDN port(30) and inputs a logical address necessary for subscriber configuration information(32). By executing a test to the PSTN/ISDN ports, the installation work processing system confirms the suitability of installation(34). Based on interface identifier information, the installation work processing system confirms and selects the optimum subsystem of a digital electronic telephone exchange(36). The installation work processing system inputs the configuration information data into the subsystem(38). The installation work processing system transfers a port state to an interruption release state using logical address information(40). If the transfer is successful, the installation work processing system updates a configuration management database finally and completes the opening work(42).
