PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a cathode ray tube is provided to increase a junction intensity between a glass panel and a rail by forming uniformly an electrostatic force in an inside of a glass and a region of a junction face between the glass panel and the metal rail. CONSTITUTION: A metal layer(22) is grown on a metal rail(4). A conductive material is grown on a position contacted with an electrode(16) for power supply(18) of the glass panel(2). The metal rail(4) and the glass panel(2) are adhered to each other by using a junction device. The metal layer(22) is grown and formed on an adhering face of the rail(4) adhered to the glass panel(2).
