PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided, in which an air flow guide plate is installed between the blower fan and heat exchanger so as to control the flow of air passing through the space between the blower fan and the heat exchanger, to thereby prevent noise caused due to the reverse flow of air. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a main body(11) embedded into a ceiling(10), and which has an inlet port(11a) formed at the center of the bottom surface of the main body so as to take in the indoor area, and a plurality of outlet ports(11b) formed along the edge of the main frame so as to discharge the heat exchanged air; a blower fan(12) mounted in the inner center of the main body, and which discharges, radially with respect to a rotating shaft, the air sucked through the inlet port; a heat exchanger(13) arranged around the blower fan so as to heat exchange the air being discharged through the blower fan; and an air flow guide plate(20) arranged in such a manner as to be protruded from the heat exchanger toward the blower fan. The air flow guide plate serves to distribute and control the air flow so as to reduce flow resistance caused due to the change of the space between the heat exchanger and the blower fan. |
