PURPOSE: An SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) distributed processing method of a WLL(Wireless Local Loop) RPOM(Radio Port Operation and Maintenance center) is provided to execute data processing in real time by increasing the communication speed between a WLL RPOM and an RPC(Radio Port Controller) and an IWF(Inter Working Function). CONSTITUTION: The GUI of a WLL RPOM sends a request command to an SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) task in order to obtain necessary data from an RPC(Radio Port Controller) or an IWF(ST11). The SNMP task generates a child process if there is a received command in its own queue(ST12,ST13). The generated child process makes an SNMP packet and transmits it to the RPC or the IWF(ST14). Then the child process waits until a response is transmitted from the RPC or the IWF(ST15). If a response is received from the RPC or the IWF, the child process is extinguished after returning the response to the task that requested the command(ST16). In case that any response is not received, the task is automatically extinguished as a preset time elapses(ST17).
