PURPOSE: An electric toothbrush is provided to simplify the structure thereof, to reduce the cost of fabrication, to improve the convenience of use, and to offer washing water. CONSTITUTION: The electric toothbrush stored in a box(30) consists of a brush case(10) and a body case(20). Rods of a first brush(14) and a second brush(15) are fitted in a hole(12a,12b) of a head(12), and a first gear(140) and a second gear(150) are engaged with the rods. An actuating gear(152) is installed on the bottom of the second gear, and a fixture(12) having a groove(140a,150a) coupled with the rods is coupled to the bottom of the head. An injection nozzle(16) containing a water supply tube(16a) is integrated to the rear of the second brush. The brush case includes a transmission shaft(18) having a driving gear(18a) engaged with the actuating gear, and a connection holder(18b). A driving shaft(22a) connected to a driving motor(22) is projected from the body case to be coupled with the connection holder. The body case has a jaw portion(25) formed a water supply port(24), and a water supply pipe(160a). A water supply button(26) and an operating button(27) are provided on the circumference of the body case. Also, a wire(29) connected to the driving motor is provided to connect a water supply way(28) connected to the water supply pipe with the box.
