PURPOSE: An electronic equipment is provided to easily manage a detachable recording medium is connected to other electronic equipment without fail. CONSTITUTION: A control equipment(200) transmits a command to erase or write, set with media managing information and contents managing information to an equipment to be controlled after a file list of a detachable recording medium connected to the equipment to be controlled, the media managing information and the contents managing information are acquired. The equipment to be controlled compares the media managing information held by the equipment to be controlled with media managing information contained in control information. In case of matching, the processing according to the command is performed. However, in case of unmatching, the command is refused.
