LIGHT-ABSORBING ANTIREFLECTION FILM, DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A light-absorbing antireflection film, display device and method of manufacturing thereof are provided to prevent reflection of light, control the transmittance for light and the wavelength distribution of the transmittance, and decrease unnecessary radiation of electromagnetic waves. CONSTITUTION: The light-absorbing antireflection film(10) has a light-absorbing film(12) having >=10 nm physical film thickness and containing pigment fine particles formed on a glass substrate(11) and an antireflection multilayered film(13) which attenuates the reflected light of the incident light by interference of light formed on the light absorbing film(12). At least one layer in the antireflection multilayered film(13) is a conductive thin film having <= 1000 Ω/unit square surface resistance. The display device is equipped with this film. The method of manufacturing the film and the device is also provided.
