INDUSTRIAL MACHINE AND CIRCUIT THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for inputting character using function keys in industrial machine and a circuit the same are provided to input character without keyboard in industrial machine by using function keys in operation panel or instruction box. CONSTITUTION: A mode key selects a character input mode or an ordinary function mode. Several function keys(310) perform function activation and character input. A display unit(302) displays an operation state or a character array which is able to be inputted. If the mode key is inputted and the character input mode is made, a control unit enables the display unit(302) to display the character array which is able to be inputted corresponding to the function key. In case an operator presses an arbitrary function key the control unit inputs the character corresponding to the function key. When the mode key is inputted and the ordinary function mode is made, in case an operator presses an arbitrary function key the control unit enables performance of an appointed function allotted to the function key.
