摘要 PURPOSE: A power transmitting device for a hybrid electric vehicle includes simple structure, thereby reducing total weight and improving energy efficiency and accelerating performance on starting and low speed. CONSTITUTION: A power transmitting device for a hybrid electric vehicle comprises the first motor(16) used as a generator, a differential gear portion(22), a final reduction gear(24), the second motor(18), the first one way clutch(26) and the second one way clutch(28). The power transmitting device includes simple structure. The device transmits power with a differential system and one way clutches(26,28). Thus, the total weight of the device is light. The manufacturing process of the device is simple. Energy loss generated on the operation by oil pressure is reduced. Further, the motors(16,18) do not drive engine on starting and low speed, thereby reducing energy loss. Furthermore, the accelerating performance of the device is improved by being driven by the two motors(16,18).
