PURPOSE: A turbocharger engine is provided to realize optimal combustion matching in all engine ranges and to improve the fuel efficiency and durability of an engine by optimally controlling a boost pressure. CONSTITUTION: A turbocharger engine includes an engine(30), a turbocharger(10) with a turbine(12) and a blower(11), an actuator(50) with a diaphragm(51) and a spring(52), and a vacuum unit consisting of a vacuum pump(61), a vacuum tank(62), a solenoid valve(63), and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(64). The unnecessary boost pressure in some loads of the turbocharger engine is detected via the ECU. The ECU compares the value of input with reference boost pressures according to the load and rpm of the engine and opens the solenoid valve to discharge exhaust gas via a waste gate(20) operated by the actuator. Therefore, the boost pressure is optimally controlled.
