PURPOSE: Provided is a breathing container for fermented food using plastic elasticity, which protects the fermented food from outside air and also emits gas produced from the fermented food to the outside. CONSTITUTION: The container comprises a main body(110), a cover(120) and a coupling device. A blocking membrane is attached to either the main body or the cover for sealing the inner part. A male screw(112b) is formed on an outside of a first flange(12) in the main body(110). A female screw(122) is formed on an inside of a second flange(22) for coupling with the male screw(112b). A groove(122a) is formed for easily exhausting gas inside the container in elevating internal pressure.
