摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for testing a remote RF front end transmitter in a base station system is provided to achieve exactness in the operation, maintenance and management of a base station by measuring and analyzing the output wavelength characteristics of a base station RF front end transmitter. CONSTITUTION: A directional combiner(46) samples a Tx RF signal outputted from a Tx BPF(Band Pass Filter)(45) and outputs this Tx sampled signal to the first duplexer(43). The first duplexer(43) mixes the Tx sampled signal with an Rx RF signal outputted through an LNA(Low Noise Amplifier)(41) and outputs this mixed signal to the second duplexer(35). The second duplexer(35) respectively outputs the Rx RF signal and the Tx sampled signal to a frequency upconverter(33) and a bidirectional power splitter(36). The bidirectional power splitter(36) splits the power of the sampled signal and outputs them to a power detector(32) and a spectrum analyzer(37). The power detector(32), receiving the power-split Tx sampled signal, converts the input signal into an analog DC voltage in proportion to the magnitude of input RF power. A base station controller(31) makes the analog DC voltage into a digital value, compensates Tx signal sampling path loss, and determines the magnitude of base station Tx power. The spectrum analyzer(47) receives the output of the bidirectional power splitter(36) and analyzes the base station Tx output frequency spectrum.
